Our Lord so loves us, that
He gave his life for us, so that those who believe in Him
might be partakers of the divine nature.
Above are Yeshua's instructions for us in this world; to love, do good works and obey the Father's will. But even with all the good we may do, He knows we are still occasionally going to fall into sin. And sin cannot enter into heaven. This is why He died for us on the cross, to wash away our sins with His blood. But we need to accept Him, and His sacrifice for us, to be cleansed from sin. This is where faith comes in. It is by God's grace, through our faith in His Son, Yeshua, that we are saved. And this faith is evident through our good works. We can not have one without the other.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." - James 2:26
Nonbelievers may do many good works throughout their lives, but they also worship foreign gods, or have no spiritual faith. Their works are done in vain...
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3:36
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we can be saved." - Acts 4:12
Likewise, faith without good works is dead. Our faith is demonstrated by our works, and its by these works that we will be judged...
"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." - James 2:14-17
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father
who is in heaven will enter. - Matt 7:21
Many people do not truly understand what it means to have faith though. It means that no matter how sinful of a life you have lived, if you have turned yourself over to the Lord, you must trust Him. Trust that He will save you, regardless of what your fate may seem to be. In these end times many of us will have our faith tested, make sure it's strong.
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." - John 8:32
This section is exposing the lies of this world. This knowledge is not essential to our salvation but learning truth will bring us closer to God.
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." - John 4:24
Much of the world that we live in is not what we've been taught, but a deception.
"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:
he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." -Rev. 12:9
The enemy has been allowed free reign in the world, in order to test us.
"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light." - Eph. 5:6-8
Satan's children and his servants control every influential industry on earth... education, media, music, Hollywood, government, religion. Their sole purpose is to turn us away from our Creator and His Word, and destroy our faith in Yeshua. They do this through corruption, distraction.. and lies.
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." - 2 Cor. 4:3-4
Remember, if anything contradicts what is written in Scripture disregard it, regardless of who teaches you it, what textbook you read it in, or how mainstream it is. Always put your faith in God's word over man's.
"In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men.." -Mark 7:7-8
"Keep that which is committed to thy faith, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called."
- 1 Tim 6:20
"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life."
