Pagan Holidays

'Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold.' - Jer. 10: 2-4

Most Christians know that Halloween is rooted in paganism (though sadly many still celebrate it). But few know that the other two of America's three biggest holidays, Christmas and Easter, are also purely pagan holidays. They are just not blatantly obvious like Halloween and instead have purposely been given the guise of "Christian" in order to remain relevant for thousands of years. This deception was an ingenious move on Satan's part, implemented through the Roman Church. In reality, Christmas and Easter have about as much to do with Christ as Halloween does, as you will soon learn.

In 221AD, Christian historian of pagan Rome named Sextus Julius Africanus became the first to claim that Yeshua was born on December 25th, a belief which gradually gained universal acceptance. According to the Encyclopedia Brittanica, while he used the Bible as the basis for his work, he also incorporated Egyptian, Babylonian and Greek chronologies and mythologies into his calculations. This becomes very apparent when considering the date he chose for Christ's birth. While there is no mention or suggestion in the Bible of Yeshua being born on, or anytime around, Dec. 25th, this date was a very popular date in the old world as it was the birthdate of the sun gods of many heathen cultures; the Babylonian god Tammuz, the Greek god Apollo, the Egyptian god Horus, the Sumerian god Dumuzi and the Persian and Roman god Mithra/Mithras, to name a few.

The Bible doesn't give Yeshua's birthdate, but it does tell us the time period in which He was born, which was around the Feast of Tabernacles, during the last week of September. We learn this because we're told John the Baptist was conceived in the eleventh week, Sivan 30. Given a typical 40 week pregnancy that would have him being born around Passover. Six months after John's conception Mary conceived Yeshua. That brings us to His birth being on or around the Feast of Tabernacles at the beginning of autumn. So why would the Vatican spread this heretical teaching around the world?

'The great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world' - Rev 12: 9

Dec. 25 was already the most sacred day in much of the world long before Christ walked the earth, due to it being the birthdate of so many different pagan gods. To the Romans specifically, who had assigned to this day to Christ's birth, it was already the most important holiday in the empire. It was called Sol Invictus, meaning the 'Unconquered Sun', in honor of the sun god of the later Roman Empire. By spreading the lie of the 25th being Christ's birthday, thus Christianizing it, the many gods not only got to keep their veneration from the pagans, but they also then received the veneration of billions of ignorant Christians as well. And it's not a coincidence that all of these gods had the same birthday, as they were all merely different versions of the same, original sun god, the Lightbearer, Lucifer. Hence, through this Satanic global deception, it's Lucifer who has been celebrated throughout history on one of the world's most sacred holy days.
